Take an origami sheet and make these creases, exactly in thirds. You may have to measure.
Now fold in half diagonally both ways, and open.
Fold along the dotted line to the points as shown, and open.
Do the same creases but in the other direction.
Fold the 1/3 portion inwards.
Using the creases, pull the corner from the point shown down to the other point, and flatten.
Again using the creases as shown, fold both sides of the top layer to meet at the center crease.
Unfold and do the same on the other side.
Move only the inside flap outside to the point as shown.
Fold this corner down along the crease.
Your 4-pointed star is ready.
