DPS, Greater Noida, organised the Investiture Ceremony of Bharat Scouts and Guides in the school auditorium. Students presented three pyramid formations, each highliting the three mottos of the movement – Service to others. Be prepared and Do your best. In her welcome speech, school principal, Renu Chaturvedi highlighted the importance of such meaningful training programmes for the younger generations and hoped that camps and jamborees of Scouts and Guides activities would provide great learning experience. The Scouts’ flag was unfurled by school vice-chairman, as the assembled scouts and guides rendered the flag song in unison. Distinguished guests along with the scouts’ teachers pinned badges, knotted scarves and applied tilak on the students. The teachers administered the oath to the congregation, calling upon them to do their best for the country and towards the well-being of others.
