I had a really bad nightmare last night. My mother says that I woke up screaming. I was trembling with fear.
In my dream I was strolling along a road near my home when a car stopped beside me. The driver asked me how to get to the hospital. While I was giving him directions to the person in the passenger seat got out of the car.
He was a huge, ugly man. He suddenly grabbed me. I tried very hard to get free, but he was much stronger than me. He threw me into the back of the car and told the driver to drive off.
My attacker got into the front of the car beside the driver. I thought that I might be able to jump out, but the car doors were locked. I could not escape.
Suddenly, we came to a halt. We were in the middle of a field. The ugly man dragged me from the backseat of the car and tied my hands behind my back. As he did so he told me that he was going to imprison me. I would only be set free, he said, when my parents had paid a huge ransom. I had been kidnapped!
The man led me to an old well and pushed me in. I fell to the bottom where it was pitch dark. I was petrified. I hate enclosed places and I am scared of the dark. I screamed.
Then I woke up my mum and dad was standing beside me looking worried. They soon calmed me down. Thank goodness it was just a dream.
