The Disney World

Several weeks ago, I watched a television documentary on the Walt Disney World in Florida in the United States. The documentary was very well produced. It brought out the joy and fun the children experienced when visiting the attractions in that great amusement park. Since then, I have set my sights on Walt Disney World as the place to visit when I am given an opportunity.
There are more than 300 attractions in Disney World. The most famous of them is the Magic Kingdom, with its numerous adventure themes. Of these, the mountain railroad, one of the wildest in the wilderness, never fails to attract visitors. Speedy trains zip in, out and over a mountain, making the roller coaster a thrilling ride. Riders pass through scenery which looks so real. There are chickens, donkeys, goats, and other animals on farms that flash by.
As I am an ardent movie fan, a visit to the MGM Studios is a must for me. The attraction I look forward to is the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. Special effects such as fire, explosions and daring escapes are the ‘stars’ here. Stuntmen and stuntwomen act out scenes from the film Raiders of the Lost Ark and show how special effects are produced. It should be exciting to see the recreation of the scene where the giant ball rolls down and seem to crush Indiana Jones. It looked so real in the TV documentary!
The newest park in Disney World is Animal Kingdom. True to its name, it has animals of every kind, from lions, tigers and zebras to giant turtles. They are all real. You can ride in a vehicle that is wide open and get closer to the animals than you have ever been. The safari ride will make you feel that you are indeed in Africa.
