Indian Pipe, also known as the Ghost Plant or Corpse Plant, is native to Russia, Asia, North America and South America. It is white and does not contain chlorophyll. Sometimes it has black flecks and a pale pink colouration. It is parasitic. Since it is not dependent on sunlight to grow, it can grow in very dark environment. The juice of this plant is used for inflamed eyes, bunions and warts. Plant teas are ingested for aches and pains associated with colds.
