Living in the deep, dark ocean floor is the angry ooking anglerfish with a huge head and a mouth that is lined with sharp teeth. Its unique light-emitting dangler on the head lures prey and attracts the tiny males who live life like parasites, attached to the females. They spawn between May and August. Average lifespan is about 20 years.
