The blue whale is the largest living animal with a heart as big as a car. Its bluish-grey body is 30 metres long and weighs 170 tonnes. They eat some of the smallest creatures such as crustaceans or krill and copepods. They can hear one another even 1,600 km away. Breeding once in 3 years, they live for 80-90 years.
