A flounder is a group of round, flatfish living in the ocean floor. It has both the eyes on any one side. Though there is one on each side of its brain while hatching, during metamorphosis one eye migrates resulting in the strange feature. They feed on spawns, crustaceans, polychaetes and small fish. Their lifespan is 12-14 years.
