Only 5 mm in length, the flower longhorn beetle has antennas which are longer that its body. This species of longhorn beetles feeds specifically on nectar from flowers and plants which are native to Australia and also on garden plants that have been introduced to the area. They reside under dead branches and barks of trees. This beetle bores into wood in order to feed its larvae.
