An Austrian born German, Hitler was the leader of the Nazi Party and Fuhrer of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945, effectively its dictator. Hitler is single handedly responsible for World War-II and the Holocaust, which was the result of Hitler’s view that the Jews were Germany’s enemy and should be eliminated. The killings and atrocities he ordered led to the death of approximately 19 million people and prisoners of war.
