A young man travelled for months, trying to find the Buddha. One night, he stopped at a small hut where he met a monk. The monk gave him food and water. They had talked for a while, before the man fell asleep. The next morning, the man thanked the monk, and left. A little later, he met a Sangha and asked them, “Where can I find the Buddha?” The monks asked him, “Where are you coming from?” The man told them that he had spent the night at the monk’s hut. The monks were surprised, as they knew that the Buddha lived in that hut. They said, “Come; we will take you to the Buddha.” The man was shocked when he saw that the monk living in the hut was the Buddha. He said, “I did not even realise that I had found what I was looking for!”
Moral: What we seek, we find.
