Once, a king decided to take a stroll in the garden. He was shocked to see the plants and the flowers dying. The oak tree said it was fading because it cannot be as high as a pine. The pine tree said it sheds its leaves because it cannot give the grapevine grapes. And the grapevine was dying because it can’t blossom like a rose. The rose plant turned yellow because it want to get rid of its thorns. But as the king moved further, he came across a fresh small plant that was neither tall nor had any fruits. After questioning, the fresh plant answered, “One should love oneself. You stopped by my side because you liked my freshness. I am blessed for what I am. I try to develop my best qualities.” Upon listening to the small fresh plant’s thoughts, the king got inspired and asked his soldiers to take special care of that plant.
