These animals have a formidable physical presence, reaching lengths of almost eight feet! It is herbivorous in nature and eats grasses found in the savanna. In the rainy season, they eat grass and thrive in volcanic soils of the Serengeti. They migrate in huge herds, almost over a million animals move northward in search of greener pastures.
