It is a herbivorous marsupial animal. Koalas typically inhabit eucalyptus woodlands. Koalas live in eucalyptus trees and can sleep for up to 18 hours every day. They measure 60-85 cm, weigh approximately 9 kg, and have an average life span of 20 years. After giving birth, a female koala carries her baby in her pouch for about six months.
