Kudus are a species of antelopes. There are two types of kudus–the lesser kudu and the greater kudu. They are herbivores and live in areas with dense bushes or forests. Farming and use of land for charcoal burning, have threatened the habitat of the kudu. However, some tribes consider it to be a sacred animal, and protect it.
