It has a white chest and back, brown, tan or red hind legs and tail and a black hairless face. Its diet consists of fruits, insects and plants, small rodents and reptiles, eggs and tree sap. They are mostly diurnal and arboreal. Usually females give birth to twins, which are like adults-hairless in the face.
