This festival is true to its name. Every year the proud parents of newborn babies bring their children to this festival, where the newborns are swaddled in cloth and laid on the ground. Grown men dressed as devils then jump over the babies. Born out of folklore and religion, the reason for this unusual festival is to bless and cleanse the child, so that he may be free of bad things, illnesses, etc. in his adult life.
