The Yugur custom has a unique wedding ritual where the groom shoots arrows without any arrowheads at the bride three times. However, the arrow does not hurt anyone. Later at the wedding ceremony, the groom breaks the arrows and the bow. This gesture is a symbolic custom to show the eternal love and life of the couple.
