Pisco Band of Holes

The Pisco Band of Holes are mysterious man-sized holes carved into the barren rock near Pisco Valley, Peru. There are about 6900 holes which date back to ancient times. Holes vary between 6-7 ft deep though some are merely shallow indents arranged in arches or staggered lines. Air and satellite imagery gives a clearer picture of the strange phenomenon. Nothing is known of the purpose of the holes and no records as to its creator in ancient mythology. An aerial view suggests some sort of code probably linked to human DNA to those who created them. It could also be linked to ancient astronauts.
