Henry Hudson was born somewhere in 1565-70, in England, and he died on 22nd June 1611 near Hudson Bay, Canada (North America). The Hudson river and the North Atlantic Oceans were explored and mapped by him when he landed in Maine on his third voyage. This voyage was sponsored by the Dutch. His next voyage was sponsored by the King of England. Both the countries established trading posts and settlements based on his explorations. He spent his entire career searching for different routes to Asia.
