In a far-away kingdom, there lived a king. The king had a beautiful orchard. No one dared to go there. People who had gone earlier never returned. Nobody knew what happened to them! Walter had heard a lot about the orchard and was curious to see it. One night, he sneaked into the orchard. Wide-eyed, he stood looking at the beautiful apples, peaches, apricots, firs and pears. Suddenly, Walter saw a big eye in the dark and smelled a warm, foul-smelling stale scent. Scared, he ran and climbed up an apple tree. Walter could not see clearly in the dark but kept hiding under a huge branch. Suddenly, two hairy paws caught his legs from under the tree. Walter shrieked and jabbed the monster’s single eye with a knife that he had hidden in his pocket. The huge monster roared in pain. Walter quickly got down the tree and hit the monster again and again until it died.
