Six-year-old Levin had moved into an old house in the outskirts of the town. The house was tastefully done in the Victorian style, but it was always chilly, no matter how high they turned up the heater. Levin’s bedroom was the coldest room. After a week or so, when the situation failed to improve, his parents decided to move him into another room. “No,” Levin stamped his feet, “I like this bedroom.” His puzzled parents let the matter rest. One night, Levin’s parents had to visit an ailing friend. They were discussing about getting a baby-sitter, when Levin piped up, “Why don’t you call that lady in the white gown?” Confused, his parents asked him what he was talking about. “The lady who visits me every night and tells me stories,” said Levin. Shocked, the parents moved out of the house next day itself.
