Hanuman was captivated by the innocent talk of Luva and Kusha. When Sita saw this, she recognized Hanuman. She then revealed the identity of Hanuman to Luva and Kusha and told that the horse belonged to their father, Rama. Sita narrated all the events to sage Valmiki who returned the horse to the army. The sage then taught the twins the Ramayana by heart and sent them to Ayodhya. They strolled through the streets of Ayodhya singing the Ramayana. The residents of Ayodhya reported this to Rama who brought the kids to his palace and requested them to sing the Ramayana. He was pleased to hear them. Just then, sage Valmiki entered the palace with Sita and revealed the twins’ identity. Rama was happy to meet his wife and sons and hugged them. Rama accepted his sons but refused to shelter Sita for the sake of his kingdom. Sita decided to return to Mother Earth. She requested Mother Earth to shelter her in her lap. Suddenly, Mother Earth emerged from inside the earth. She took Sita and descended back into the earth. Luva, Kusha and Rama cried for Sita to come back. But she had gone forever.
