Follow Your Heart

Jacob’s father was a horse trainer and moved from ranch to ranch, training horses. Thus, Jacob’s school life was always disturbed. One day, Jacob’s teacher asked him to write about what he wanted to be when he grew up. He wrote about his aim to be an owner of a horse ranch. He even drew stables and a house. Two days later, Jacob got his paper back with an ‘F’. His teacher said, “Your dreams are so unrealistic. There is no possibility that you will reach those goals.” Then the teacher offered him to rewrite the paper with more realistic attitude. His father advised him, “You have to follow your heart and never let anyone to steal your dreams.” After a week, Jacob brought the same paper to his teacher with no change. He said, “Please keep the ‘F’ and I will keep my dream.” Jacob grew up to own a 4,000-square-feet house in the middle of a 200-acre horse ranch.
