The Fingal’s Cave is a sea cave on the uninhabited Scottish island of Staffa. The Fingal’s Cave is an important ancient wonder of the Irish and Scottish Celtic people. The cave is 72 feet tall and 270 feet deep. But that alone is not what makes this cave visually impactful. The cave has towering hexagonal basalt columns, shaped perfectly like six-sided pillars. These pillars also make up the interior walls.
