Samuel was a politician and had to meet many people during campaigning. During one of the campaigns, a man was publicly offending him. Seeing this, a well-dressed supporter went to Samuel and said, “How can you tolerate such offences? Don’t you feel hurt?” Samuel said, “Just let it be.” The supporter continued, “You must answer him back!” Samuel calmly said, “Come with me.” The supporter followed Samuel to his office. There, he saw an old wooden chest of drawers at the corner of the room. Samuel started rummaging in the drawers and found a completely torn shirt. He threw it at the supporter and said, “Try it on; it will match you.” The supporter held the shirt distastefully and said, “You must be crazy! I am well dressed and I certainly don’t need this!” “You see,” Samuel said, “You didn’t want to try the shirt on. In the same way, I did not want to try those dirty words that the man threw on me.”
