Peter and his friends were visiting a park, one morning. A park cleaner was singing and dancing as he swept the park grounds. The boys found it amusing to see how the cleaner worked so joyfully and they started throwing litter on the ground. When more people started arriving, some other children thought it was one of the fun activities of the park and he joined in. Soon, the park was filled with rubbish. Surprisingly, the cleaner did not mind and just kept sweeping the area clean. Encouraged by the park cleaner, the adults joined him. They swept the grounds, singing and dancing all the while. Seeing them, Peter and other children were ashamed of their behaviour. “Well, don’t just stand there! Come; join us,” said the cleaner and the children immediately joined them. It became so much fun that from that day onwards, the park authorities created a new activity where all visitors would spend a little time cleaning, laughing and dancing.
