Sarah Thanks God

Sarah had a son, and she named him as Isaac. Abraham organized a big feast, on the day when Isaac was named. One day, Sarah saw her son playing with the Hagar of Egypt. She was angry and asked Abraham to throw out the girl, who was slave, and her son. Abraham was displeased with the request, as that boy was none other than his own son. She didn’t want the son of the slave to become Abraham’s heir. The next day, Abraham handed over some bread and water to the Hagar and asked her to leave. She wandered and reached the desert of Beersheba, and then realized that the water in the skin was over. As she couldn’t see her own son dying, she left him in a shade and stood at a far-off place. She prayed to Jehovah and asked him to take her son. When she opened her eyes, she saw a well in front of her. She thanked God, and filled the skin with water and fed her son. Now, she knew that her son was special and was cared by God. He grew up to become a bowman and lived in Paran.
