Princess Rosalie was known for being very kind. Whenever anyone was in need, he would be helped by her. One day, a poor beggar came to the palace door and asked to meet the princess. “I am Mike,” said the beggar, “Will you give me some work please and a place to rest?” The kind princess gave him work in the royal stables and a room in the loft to sleep. He ate at the table with all the other workers. Mike handled the horses beautifully. Soon, he was made the Head Groom and escorted the princess every day when she rode. One day, Mike saved princess from some robbers who attacked them. Princess Rosalie fell in love with Mike and told her parents that she wished to marry him. When the king finally asked him, Mike smiled and uttered, “I will. I am Prince Michael and have come here to win the hand of the princess!”
