Sheikh Chilli used to carry loads for people, on his donkey, to earn a living. One day, he had to deliver an exceptionally heavy load. The donkey was having great difficulty with it, so Sheikh made his donkey rest at short intervals. On the way, Sheikh met a strange looking man. He offered Sheikh to take him to dreamland for only half a rupee. Sheikh quickly gave him the money. This strange man had set up a ‘bioscope’ under a tree. It was a box with a moving screen of pictures and lights. While the man played music, there was a hole on one side of the box, through which one could see the pictures moving to music. Sheikh was soon lost in all the splendour of the colourful world he had never seen or heard of! When finally the show ended, Sheikh looked around. The man had vanished. And so had his donkey with its heavy load!
