Valle de Cocora, or as it is more commonly known, the Cocora Valley, is a scenic valley in the department of Quindio, Columbia. Lush greens rolling hills provide a breathtaking view of the Cocora Valley, which is a part of the Los Nevados National Natural Park. The Valley is the home of the national tree, the Quindio wax palm that is the symbol of Columbia. The incredible variety of flora and fauna that can be found here is all protected because of the ‘National status’ of the park.
