Long ago, a girl named Aaliyah lived with her parents in a cottage. One evening, Aaliyah wished to go to the village fair. But her mother refused. She was scared of the witches in the dark. Aaliyah became upset and left the house in anger. Soon, Aaliyah realised that she was lost and started crying loudly. An old woman came to her and said, “I will take you to your parents. Come with me.” Aaliyah followed the old woman and reached her house. Instantly, the old woman locked her up in a dark cabin. The old woman was actually a witch. Aaliyah prayed to the fairy godmother for help. After a while, an eagle came and flew away with the witch’s magic wand in its beak. The witch went after the eagle to get her wand back. Fortunately, she left Aaliyah’s cabin door open. Aaliyah ran back home. She apologised to her mother and never disobeyed her again.
