Once, the king of fairyland was very sick. Only the magical herbs could save him. Since a fierce giant guarded the herbs, everyone was scared of going there. So, the fairy princess disguised herself as a young boy and set out all alone. On her way, the fairy princess met a young man named Frederick. When Frederick learnt of the fairy princess’ plan, he accompanied her. Frederick and the fairy princess reached the forest late at night. When Frederick was asleep, she went looking for the herb. She found the giant guarding the herbs. The fairy princess made herself invisible and took some magic herb. The next morning, she told Frederick about herself and invited him to visit fairyland. Frederick was surprised when he realised the boy was actually the fairy princess. She smiled at Frederick and said, “You have proved yourself to be a true friend.”
