Once, there lived two sisters, Rose and Lily. Every day, they picked flowers in the forest and sold them in the market. Lily was very lazy and occasionally skipped the flower picking. So, Rose went alone. One such day, Rose met an old woman, who said, “Can I have some of the flowers?” Rose gave the old woman a few orchids knowing that she would make less money. The old woman was a fairy in disguise. She blessed Rose to marry a prince soon. The jealous Lily wanted to marry a prince, too. So, she went to the forest and waited for the old woman. Instead, a girl came to Lily and asked her to fetch some water from the well. But Lily refused to help.n The girl was the fairy. “You are rude and unkind. I won’t reward you,” said the fairy and she vanished. But Lily learnt to be kind to everyone.
