Once, a group of wise and kind witches lived in the hamlet of little people. One day, a wicked ogre came to the hamlet and said to the people, “The witches are planning to kill all of you.” The little people believed the wicked ogre and drove the witches away. The witches shifted to the caves in the nearby mountains. The moment the witches left, the ogre declared, “I am your new king. If you go against my wishes, I’ll eat your cattle.” The little people were so scared that they did everything the ogre said. Finally, the wisest one bravely went to the caves. He apologised and begged the witches for help. The witches took pity on the little people and agreed. The witches flew back into the hamlet and used their flying sticks to beat the ogre. He ran away in fright and never returned again. The witches and the little people stayed together happily.
