One evening, while Hatim was resting under a tree, on his journey to solve the mysteries that surrounded the second question of Harith’s daughter, he heard someone crying. He saw a man crying, sitting under a tree near by. On asking, he found out that every week a monster came to their village and ate one of them and this time it was his turn. Hatim asked the stranger to draw the picture of the monster and recognised it to be Haluka who could not be killed with any weapon. Hatim gathered the villagers and asked them to create a mirror that was as big as Haluka. He then placed the mirror at the entrance of the village. When Haluka entered the village and saw his reflection in the mirror, he became breathless; his feet could not support him; he fell down and at the same time his heart stopped beating. He died of shock, seeing his own ugly image in the mirror.
