The fairies could not allow Hatim to stay at mountain Kaf for long without the permission from their king, Mahpari. They sent a messenger to the palace to inform the king that they were bringing a human to the palace. The fairies considered humans to be very beautiful. The news that a few fairies were travelling to the palace with a human, spread around the fairyland like wildfire. The fairies of all kinds, young and old, lined up along the road to the palace to get a glimpse of Hatim. Husnapari was the daughter of Mansapari, who was a minister in the court of Mahpari. She too wanted to take a look at Hatim. And as soon as she saw him, she fell in love with him. She and her friends cast a magic spell on everyone to fall sleep. Husnapari then kidnapped Hatim and took him to her father’s garden to hide him from everyone.
