The Crooked Tree

The-Crooked-Tree

Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there were many straight and tall trees. Their trunks were broad and shapely. But there was one tree which was crooked and had a shapeless trunk. The other trees made fun of the crooked tree. The poor crooked tree developed an inferiority complex. He became very sad. He thought, ‘I am so ugly! All the others are straight and shapely. I alone have a crooked trunk. All of them make fun of me.” Days passed by. One day, a woodcutter came to the forest. He was looking around to cut trees. His glance fell on the straight trees. He said, “I will cut the straight trees but I will not cut the crooked tree. It is of no use to me.” So, he cut away the straight trees. The crooked tree was very happy as he had been saved because of his crookedness.
Moral: Be happy with what you are.
