Once, a girl named Jenny needed a study table. As they were poor, her parents decided to buy an old one. In the furniture store, Jenny looked around and casually opened a drawer of an old table. To her surprise, she found a bag with some notes in it. She thought, ‘Wow! With this money I can buy anything.’ She quickly put the bag back and told her mother that she wanted that table. So, they bought the table. At home, Jenny took out the bag and found fifteen thousand dollars in it. Strangely, she felt uneasy about keeping someone’s money. So, she told her parents about it. They, in turn, told the shop owner. The owner called up the family to whom the table originally belonged. The family was very happy as they were badly in need of the money. They praised Jenny for her honesty. Jenny also made her parents proud.
Moral: Honesty is the best policy.
