Baital began telling another story to King Vikramaditya—“A Brahmin lived in the city of Magadha. He was a very religious person. He performed religious ceremonies for his clients. He had two sons. They were very talented. The first son could identify if there was wealth buried under the earth or whether there was water under it by simply touching the earth. Many people took his help and paid him in return. The second could make out the contents of an iron safe by simply smelling it from outside. He was also a proficient judge of women. By simply looking at a woman, he could tell about her qualities and nature. The King of Magadha, Surya Narain, was told about this. So, he called them to his court. He appointed both the Brahmin brothers as ministers in his royal court. One day, two men came to the King’s court.
