Once, there was a fox. He had a neighbour – a wild boar. The boar was very laborious. He used to get up early in the morning, clean his house and then go out to get his food. The fox, on the other hand, was very lazy. He got up late and never cleaned his house. When he used to feel hungry, he used to beg the boar for something to eat. One day, the boar was standing under a tree and rubbing his tusks against the trunk. The fox saw him and was puzzled. He asked the boar why he was sharpening his tusks when he was in no danger. The boar replied, “I am sharpening my tusks because, though I am in no danger for now, I may have to use my tusks in the future. In the time of need, I will not be able to sharpen them.”
