Once, there was a farmer. He worked in his fields all day. But the farmer was very troubled because of the menace of the birds. The birds would come and eat his crops. One day, the farmer decided to scare the birds away with a sling. Initially, the birds were scared of the sling, but some days later, they realised that the sling was not dangerous. The farmer just used to swing it in the air. So, they continued creating menace in the fields. The farmer was sad as he saw that his idea had not worked. He was very upset. Therefore, he decided to take stricter measures against the birds. He attached stones to the sling and started hitting the birds. Many birds got hurt. The birds got scared and decided to leave the fields as they were not safe anymore.
