One day, some oxen were pulling a wagon, which was loaded with trees. It was a very hot day. The oxen were feeling the heat and were tired as well. Thus, they were making their way slowly. Now, the trees, which were being carried, started making a fuss. They started complaining and cried out, “What are you oxen doing? Can’t you walk quickly? We are getting tired and losing patience.” The oxen heard them and stopped. They turned around and said to the trees, “Why are you causing so much ruckus? You are just lying there enjoying the ride. We are the ones who are carrying the burden in this heat. We should be complaining not you. Try and be in our place.” The trees stopped cribbing and the oxen continued walking in order to complete their journey.
