There was an oak tree in a jungle. An eagle lived on top of it. A cat lived in its middle in a hollow and a sow lived at its foot. Now, the cat wanted the tree all to herself. She wanted to drive the eagle and the sow away. So, one day, she went to the eagle and said, “Look, the sow is digging at the roots of the tree. Soon, the tree will fall and the sow will eat your young ones.” The eagle got scared after hearing this. Then the cat went to the sow and said to her, “As soon as you go out, the eagle will feed on your kids.” The sow was also frightened. The eagle and the sow did not move out of their homes. Ultimately, both died of starvation. Thus, the cat had the tree to herself now.
