Once, there was a thief. He was proud of the fact that he was a thief. The thief also believed that he was the smartest. He thought, ‘No one is smarter than I. No one can beat me!” One day, the thief saw a boy near a well. The boy was crying. The thief asked him, “Why are you crying?” The boy showed him a piece of rope and said, “My bucket, which was made of silver, has fallen into the well!” The thief thought, ‘I shall steal this silver bucket.’ Thinking like this, he said to the boy, “Do not cry! I will find your bucket.” He took off his clothes and jumped into the well. He searched for the silver bucket but could not find it. As he came out of the well, he saw that the boy had disappeared and so had all his clothes!
