The place on the dial where the sunlight falls tells the time. One afternoon, it was very cloudy. The sunlight could not reach the dial. The dial, therefore, could not tell the time. The clock saw the dial and said, “I feel sad for you! You are unable to show the time if the sun does not come out. I can tell the time even without the sunlight. It is two o’clock in the afternoon right now.” Just then, the sun came out and showed the exact time on the dial. The dial said to the clock, “The correct time is half an hour past twelve. You told the wrong time. Brother, you should not be proud of yourself. We all depend on one another. I depend on the sun to tell me the correct time and you depend on me to know the time.”
