Once, a lion, standing outside his cave, growled loudly. His growl echoed from inside the cave. The lion was surprised. He thought that there was another lion inside the cave. He was alarmed. He questioned, “Who are you? How dare you growl at me? Come out and show yourself.” Every time the lion spoke, his words echoed. The lion became more furious. He was convinced that the other lion wanted to be the king in his place. So, the lion challenged the other lion to show himself. But still, there was no sign of the other lion. The lion was perplexed. Now, a fox had been seeing all this. He came to the lion and said, “Sir, please do not be furious. In reality, the voice that you hear is your very own voice that echoes.”
