There were two brothers, one rich and one poor. One day, the poor brother met an elf who gave him a magical mill. The mill gave him everything he wanted. He became very rich. Now, the rich brother heard about it. He wanted the mill so that it might grind salt and he could sell it. He borrowed the mill but heard only how to start it and not how to stop it. Soon, he went sailing and put the mill on the deck and said, “Grind salt, and grind both good and fast.” The mill began to grind salt. When the brother had the ship full of salt, he wished to stop the mill, but he did not know how to stop it. The mill kept on grinding and grinding. This resulted in the sinking of the ship but the mill kept grinding and grinding. That is the reason why the sea is so salty.
