Once, a farmer used to live with his parents. One day, the farmer became very rich. So, he collected all his valuables and left his poor parents for greener pastures. When his parents asked him for food and money, he drove them away. The poor parents were full of grief. Suddenly, they met an elf. The elf gave them some milk and bread. As soon as the couple had the milk and bread, a storm brewed up. To the couple’s astonishment, there stood a palace instead of their old home. The couple was ecstatic. They went to share the good news with their son. To their horror, they saw their son in a terrible state. His fertile land had changed into a barren land. Upon seeing them, the son started crying. The couple asked him to come and stay with them. The son asked them to forgive him.
