A merchant was very handsome but he was bald. One day, he went to Troy for trading. While he was trading, he met a Trojan scholar. They chatted a while and became friends. The scholar invited the merchant to dinner at his home. The merchant agreed. He wore his finest outfit and arrived at the scholar’s house. The scholar’s wife opened the door. The dining table was laid out. All of them had a wonderful meal. When the merchant was ready to leave, the scholar picked a brass pot from the table and pointing to the base said to the merchant, “Why do you have heads like this?” The merchant understood that the scholar meant his bald head. The merchant immediately turned the pot upside down and showing the empty cavity said, “Why do you have heads like this?” Both the men had a hearty laugh at the questions and parted ways happily.
